For the third consecutive year, we've been invited to speak at the Oracle Development Tools User Group's (ODTUG) APEX Track for Kaleidoscope 2009. This year the event will be in lovely Monterey, California the week of June 21st. For this year's conference we covered the following topic areas...
- Managing Larger Development Efforts using Application Express
- 10 Easy Ways to Develop Faster and More Professionally
...but great technical content aside, we're somewhat selfishly looking forward to spending some time with our Oracle & APEX colleagues again ;-).
Raj Mattamal's Custom Security Schemes topic was voted in first place by the Oracle Mix community. That means Oracle invited us to to present the topic at Open World 2008. The session was well attended, and it seems as if there's no shortage of folks trying to push the envelope with Oracle Application Express.

We recently presented at the Higher Education Data Warehousing Conference in Blackburg, Va hosted by Virginia Tech. In this session, co-hosted by Boston College, we explained how a Data Warehouse can be used to provide cleaner, more up-to-date information to Apex applications used by different departments.
